Research
Stefan Geyer works on uncertainty-aware computer vision for understanding surgical procedures. His research develops and evaluates methods that recognize familiar phases of an operation while detecting previously unseen activities. This includes modeling uncertainty and constructing benchmarks for recognition when not all possible surgical phases are known during training.
